Hey students, are you looking for a summer job? You're in luck, as the Tuscaloosa County Commission and PARA are hiring!

First you have meet the eligibility requirements of being between 16 and 21 years old, and be a current high school student, a 2016 graduating high school senior or up to a 2nd year college student.

Okay, if you say CHECK, let tell you there are a total of twenty jobs. Each selected applicant will be competing against two others during the interview process. No sweat, right? Just be prepared to present yourself professionally with a friendly smile, and you'll be fine!

If you're really good, you may be invited back to work again next summer, like some students are.

If you'd like to work for the County Commission, fill out an application at the Personnel Office at the Tuscaloosa County Courthouse between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. There are 10 jobs supported by its Department Heads.

The PARA jobs are being made available by Commissioner Reginald Murray through his Discretionary Fund. If you're interested, visit PARA's downtown office on Greensboro Avenue to apply.

The application process will close at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, May 16th or when the number 3 times the number of jobs available.
