Tuscaloosa’s One Place Award-Winning Tinsel Trail Seeks 2026 Sponsors
One of West Alabama’s most favorite winter season holiday events is getting ready for the 2026 season. Tuscaloosa’s One Place Tinsel Trail is ready to open sponsor registration on Wednesday, July 1.
Since its launch in 2013, Tuscaloosa’s One Place Tinsel Trail has grown into a beloved holiday tradition and national attraction. It was voted 4th in the nation in the 2025 USA Today Reader’s Choice Awards for Best Public Holiday Lights Display. You can be part of this festive experience by sponsoring a tree or holiday display along the trail.
Each holiday season, Government Plaza in downtown Tuscaloosa transforms into a festive wonderland featuring more than 200 live Christmas trees and dazzling displays.
By sponsoring Tinsel Trail, businesses and individuals invest directly in the well-being of the Tuscaloosa community. Also, vendor booths are available for registration for the second annual Holiday Market.

Sponsorships help strengthen families and support the prevention of child abuse and neglect across West Alabama through programs and services provided by Tuscaloosa’s One Place, A Family Resource Center.
“Proceeds fund parent education classes, workforce development courses, food pantries, youth mentorship, the Family First Boutique, and other resources for families,” said the press release.
From Thanksgiving through New Year’s, your sponsor tree or display will be showcased, providing a unique opportunity to promote your business or organization to thousands of residents and visitors while celebrating the season.
“The Tuscaloosa’s One Place Tinsel Trail brings our community together to celebrate the holidays while supporting families across West Alabama,” said Kevin Besnoy, executive director of Tuscaloosa’s One Place. “We are grateful for the community partners and sponsors that make this event possible and help strengthen our community.”
Sponsorship packages are available at a range of prices and perks. A complete list of sponsorship packages can be found on the Tuscaloosa’s One Place Tinsel Trail website.
