The Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center is hosting the 16th Annual ‘VA2K Walk & Roll’ on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, from noon to 2 p.m.

Hosted at VA facilities across the country, this free 2-kilometer walk, run, or roll event encourages participation from Veterans, employees, and the community.

The annual event will be held at the Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center, Building 137 Entrance, located at 3701 Loop Road East, Tuscaloosa, AL 35404. Attendees should know that, in the event of rain, the VA2K will be moved to the Sports Atrium in Building 137.

“VA2K brings VA employees, Veterans, and the community together to promote an active lifestyle while supporting VA’s ongoing efforts to end Veteran homelessness through voluntary donations of personal care and household items,” said the press release.
