Tuscaloosa’s First Whataburger Opens Its Doors on Wednesday [PHOTOS]
More than 100 people were in line and a dozen cars waiting along the street when the first Whataburger in Tuscaloosa opened its doors on Wednesday.
A great crowd showed up on an overcast and cool morning to be among the first people to eat at the new restaurant as Big Al and the Whataburger staff welcomed guests. The restaurant was giving away a commemorative silver table tent for the first 100 customers that came through the door.
95.3 the Bear and Tide 102.9 also made an appearance at the grand opening to meet the new staff and say hello to the customers waiting in line, but to also be one of the first to try the new menu.
