Abby Armstrong visited her unit at Radiant Storage, filled with her personal items, as she prepared for the new year. However, upon arrival, she was met with it being empty, and items missing valued near $20,000. However, there was one item that money can’t replace.

That Item Was Her Father’s Ashes

“I just feel a numbness. I was really upset the last couple of days. I peeked underneath and lifted the door up and it was completely empty in there. I started freaking out,” Armstrong told WBRC Fox 6.

Armstrong who was close with her father, told WBRC Fox 6 that her “heart was broken for real.”

She made an effort to contact Radiant Storage management and, according to WBRC Fox 6, she was told “a company official would have a meeting with her.”

At the time of reporting, the unmanned facility's gate was inoperable.

This is a developing story and will bring updates as they become available.
