VictoryLand racetrack lovers, according to al.com VictoryLand racetrack is back in business after Circuit Judge William A.Shashy’s ruling.

The state can’t keep the $263,105 or the 1,615 electronic bingo machines state law enforcement seized in a raid two years ago on the VictoryLand racetrack’s gaming facility.

Circuit Judge William A.Shashy stated in his order that it appeared that state officials had “cherry-picked” which bingo facilities it wanted to close and those it wanted to remain open. The judge also stated in his order. “This court refuses to be used as an instrument to perpetuate unfair treatment”

State Attorney Luther Strange had no comment. He can however appeal the ruling.       See the Judges ruling here.
