So don’t let the afternoon into the evening showers and at times thunderstorms shock you. The timeframe should be between 2:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Also, Spann said that the “chance of any one spot seeing rain through Thursday is 15-25 percent.”

Temperatures

Our area will ride the temperature wave between the high 80s into the low 90s. Signs are pointing to late next week heading into the mid-90s.

Weekend Outlook

As of right now, for Friday and Saturday, you can expect sunny skies and cooler nights. Sunday will be the return of afternoon-evening showers and thunderstorms.
