The state of Alabama has produced some of the best rappers/hip-hop artist in the industry. Timothy Clayton better known by his stage name Attitude was raised in Brighton Alabama. Radric Davis better known by his stage name Gucci Mane was born in Alabaster, Alabama. Terence Cook, better known by his stage name Drama, is from Sylacauga Alabama. G-Side the hip hop duo is from Athens, Alabama near Huntsville. Marece Richards better known by his stage name Rich Boy, is from Mobile Alabama.  When you think about the pioneers of rap, names like the Sugarhill Gang, Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five, The Fat Boys, NWA, Kool Moe Dee, Slick Rick, Kurtis Blow, MC Hammer, MC Lyte, Salt-N-Pepa and LL Cool J are just a few names from the many that we all know and love.
