Why I’m Staying Off Of Social Media The Day After The Election

This election season has been one for the books. It's my second time voting, and I feel like humanity relied on my vote. I'll spare you the dramatics of who I chose and why, but it was exhausting.

I feel like no matter who you voted for it was a lot to deal with. We're in this digital and social media age, and with that comes a lot of problems. People think they know it all. There's so much information out there, but you have to decipher whats true or false. It can be so overwhelming.

But tomorrow, I will do something different; I'm staying off social media. I cast my vote before I moved here and I'm at peace with it. I want the day after elections to be drama free. Facebook and Twitter as of lately has been too much. I have friends with opinions on the candidates and some of them made me cringe all election season.

Whomever is the 2016 Presidential Winner, I know for sure its not going to be the end of the world. We will do what we always do, wake up and go to work.
