It’s almost impossible to talk about rap music from the 90’s and not mention No Limit Records.  The label made its debut in 1991 and released music from artists like Master P, TRU, C-Murder, Silkk the Shocker, Mia X, Mystikal, Soulja Slim, Mr. Serv-On, the 504 Boyz, the Sons of Funk, and even Snoop Dogg among a host of others.

Sources say the label began to descend as some artists didn’t want to work with different producers. So, we’ve gone years without that authentic sound of No Limit… Until now!

Funk Fest in Birmingham will include a reunion of some of No Limit’s most notable artists: Master P, Mystikal, Mia X, Silkk the Shocker, Fiend, Mr. Serv On!

The roster also includes Jeezy, Raheem Devaughn, Tweet, and Youngbloodz!

It all goes down on Saturday, Nov. 7 at Legion Field, and we definitely want to send you there!
