Wind Advisory: Portions of Alabama Could Experience 40 MPH Gusts

THE WIND ADVISORY IS NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM CST THIS EVENING.
The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a “Wind Advisory” for portions of Alabama. There is the possibility of wind gusts up to 40 mph.
We have listed all the counties impacted since my Townsquare Media listeners travel throughout the state. This wind advisory goes until 9 p.m.

Autauga, Bibb, Blount, Calhoun, Chambers, Cherokee, Chilton, Clay, Cleburne, Coosa, Dallas, Elmore, Etowah, Fayette, Greene, Hale, Jefferson, Lamar, Lowndes, Marengo, Marion, Montgomery, Perry, Pickens, Randolph, Shelby, St. Clair, Sumter, Talladega, Tallapoosa, Tuscaloosa, Walker, and Winston counties.
WHAT
SOUTHWEST WINDS 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 40 MPH EXPECTED.
WHERE
COUNTIES NORTHWEST OF INTERSTATE 85 IN CENTRAL ALABAMA.
WHEN
UNTIL 6 PM CST THIS EVENING.
IMPACTS
GUSTY WINDS COULD BLOW AROUND UNSECURED OBJECTS.
TREE LIMBS COULD BE BLOWN DOWN AND A FEW POWER OUTAGES MAY RESULT.
