Wreck on I-20/59 Causes Huge Delays Near Exit 77

Vehicles traveling towards Tuscaloosa on I-20/59 were experiencing major delays on Wednesday morning after an accident happened near exit 77. 

According to Tuscaloosa Police, the driver of a wrecker fell asleep while driving on Buttermilk Road. His vehicle went off the road and down into the interstate, where it collided with an 18-wheeler.

The driver of the wrecker was airlifted to UAB Hospital, and his condition is currently unknown.
