5-Year-Old Killed By School Bus

5-year-old Jayden Hawkins a kindergarten student in Butler County, Kentucky was struck and killed by his school bus Monday afternoon.

Jay got off the school bus around 3:15 p.m.at his grandmother’s house.  He was hit by the as it started to pull away.

54-year-old Janine Dockery of Morgantown was the bus driver at the time of the accident. According to the school system Dockery has been a full-time school bus driver for nearly 18 years.

The Kentucky State Patrol is investigating the incident.
