My First Turkey GiveAway

Thanksgiving is all about being thankful for what you have, and helping those in need. This year, with The Steve Harvey Foundation, Crawford Insurance, and 92.9 WTUG, we were able to giveaway 92 turkeys.

It was a pretty great event and the certificates to get turkeys went out fast. Mr.Crawford said people were lined up at his door at 8:30 this morning. His employees were very helpful in the process.

We went to Walmart to pick up the first half of the turkeys away. While planning the giveaway Raphael, a manager at Walmart was an integral part of making sure everything ran smoothly.

When we got to Crawford Insurance, there were already people there and lining up. It was so exciting to see their faces, and hear just how thankful they are. One lady thanked us about five times. It was a great feeling that we made someone's holiday a little better.
