Yesterday morning, the body of Parker Alexander Jordan was found at the Theta Chi house at the University of Alabama.  While the cause of death has not been released, it is not thought to be linked to hazing.

One person was killed in an accident on 20/59 yesterday in almost the same place a person was killed Friday afternoon. A dump truck caught fire, resulting in traffic being extremely backed up for several hours.

One person was killed in a wreck with a school bus in Brent this morning.  No students were on the bus.

Yesterday, sheriff's deputies reported to the scene of a home invasion and thought the suspect was still inside the house. However, after a brief standoff, further investigation showed that no one was in the home.
