Moss from Istrouma High School, out of Baton Rouge, LA.,  committed to the Crimson Tide on June 6 but has decided to open up his recruitment. The 6-foot, 190 pound back is being recruited by LSU, Texas A&M, Georgia and others along with Alabama.

He rushed for 1,354 yards and 16 touchdowns while earning Louisiana 4A All-State as a kick returner after returning three for a touchdown in 2019. In the COVID-19 altered 2020 he rushed for 265 yards and five touchdowns.

Alabama still has 5-star running back Emmanuel Henderson out of Geneva County High School in its 2022 class but Moss' decommitment is a blow to the Tide.
