50 Cent Says Trump Offered Him $500K to Join Presidential Campaign
50 Cent loves making money, but when that money comes from President Donald Trump, the rapper has to say no.
During a recent interview with Hot 97, 50 was asked about Trump's handling of the office. The rapper quickly revealed the president's team offered him $500,000 to make an appearance for him during his presidential campaign.
"Before he got elected, they were having issues with the African American vote," 50 said. "They wanted to pay me $500,000 as part of the campaign just to make an appearance. I was like, 'Nah, that's not good money. I'm not going to do that.' That's not worth it!"
Earlier this month, 50 revealed he landed a deal with the Starz network to executive produce three new shows. "LOL yo this s--- is unbelievable, I have 3 new shows coming on STARZ. BMF, Tomorrow Today, and I GOT AWAY. TICK, TICK 💣BOOM," he wrote on Instagram.
The rapper also revealed the fifth season of Power would include more episodes.
“I just got off with Chris Albrecht, head of STARZ,” he wrote. “New Deal More POWER coming your way, next season there will be less of a Wait. Thanks for supporting me, I can’t believe how much money they just gave me. That s— just f—ed with my nerves my hand is shaking. LOL TURN THAT S— BACK ON NOW.”
