A North Carolina College Is On Lockdown After A Shooting

Daniel Wiggins, assistant operations manager for Wayne County said that Wayne Community College in Goldsboro, North Carolina is on lockdown after one person was shot in the library.

One person is dead. City Manager Scott Stevens said he doesn’t believe anyone else was shot.

According to the National Center for Education Statistics the 2-year school has a population of 3837, with slightly half of the students part-time.

The shooter is still at large and described as a bald white male, 5-foot-11, with a tattoo over his left eye and a goatee. Read more here at cnn.com
