Alabamians is Your Car Under a “Park Outside” Notice?
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued several recalls over the past few weeks. The most concerning recall now impacts 3.3 million vehicles.
Recalls have been initiated from Hyundai Motor America and Kia America along with a “park outside” notice due to a potential fire hazard.
“Until these recalled vehicles have been repaired, the manufacturers say the safest place to park them is outside and away from homes and other structures,” said the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). The concern is that fires can break out in the vehicle regardless of whether it's parked and switched off or in motion.
