Are you currently looking for a job? Then this might be some great news for you!

One of the largest job fairs in Alabama is coming to Tuscaloosa on Thursday, June 7th, at the McDonald Hughes Center from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. with more than 2,000 job opportunities that are looking to be filled.

The Alabama Career Center is teaming up with more than 50 local prospective employers offering more than 2,600 jobs. Companies looking to hire include: The University of Alabama, Embassy Suites, UPS, Yokohama Tire, Polaris Industries, and more.

Alabama Secretary of Labor Fitzgerald Washington told WVUA 23 News“Applicants should come to the job fair with multiple copies of their resume, and they should be prepared to interview and come dressed professionally because they want to put their best foot forward to impress the employers in the jobs they have to offer.”  Washington also suggested that anyone looking for a job should show up to the job fair prepared.
