Atlanta Falcons to be Featured on HBO’s ‘Hard Knocks’

The Atlanta Falcons announced Thursday that the team would be featured in the upcoming season of HBO's 'Hard Knocks' before the start of the 2014 season.

The popular show gives fans an inside look at an NFL training camp and special access to the team as it tries to finalize its roster. The Falcons are an intriguing pick because they have a good mix of veteran players and rookies that always leads to entertaining interaction. Plus, the team will be looking to rebound after a disappointing 2013.

“We are excited about the opportunity to give our fans a behind the scenes look at what it takes to prepare an NFL team for the rigors of a 16-game regular season and beyond,” said Falcons Owner & Chairman Arthur M. Blank. “This marks the first time that our franchise will be featured on HARD KNOCKS and we look forward to showcasing our great players and coaches to football fans all across America.”

The show will debut on August 5 at 9 PM CT and air for five consecutive weeks on Tuesday night.
