Webb.
Bishop Jeffery Darnell Webb was born in Memphis, Tennessee on November 16, 1970 to Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Webb. Jeffery was educated in the Memphis City Schools and later found himself in a single parent home with his mother and 2 older siblings. Jeffery is a product of South Memphis where he grew up in a rough environment of drugs, gangs and violence. Webb had a gift to sing and dance which led him to a Creative and Performing Arts School (Overton High), that is when his love for music grew.
In 1989, he graduated from Overton High in Memphis and enrolled at Shelby State Community College. At Shelby State, he excelled and was awarded a scholarship after his freshman year. In January of 1992, he transferred to Stillman College in Tuscaloosa, Alabama where he majored in Sociology/Psychology. In 1995, Bishop Webb graduated with a B.A. and later in September he accepted his call to preach the gospel. In October 1995, he preached his first sermon “How You Like Me Now” at Cornerstone Full Gospel Baptist church in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He was ordained in 1998 and in 1999, Bishop received his first pastoral appointment at Zion Friendship in Eutaw, Alabama.
While at Cornerstone, he founded J.D. Webb Ministries, Inc. and the Anointed Voices of Faith. In July 2000, the late Bishop Earnest L. Palmer, asked Bishop Webb to head the State of Alabama Youth Division. Bishop Webb agreed to be the State Youth Director and founded “Youth Committed to Christ”. He has also held the position of Alabama State Historian for Full Gospel. In 2006, he was consecrated to the Office of the Bishopric. Bishop Webb founded D.U.D.E. (Devil U’ve Done Enough) and H.Y.M.N. (Helping Young Men Network), a mentoring program for young men ages 8-18. In 2013, Bishop Webb obtained his Doctor of Divinity from Saint Thomas University in Jacksonville, Florida.
Bishop Webb has been in ministry for 27 years and has 24 years of pastoral experience. He has authored two books, Walking the Ministry Tightrope and 40 Keys to your Destiny. Bishop Webb is the proud father of three children, DeAngelo, Rhema, and Caleb. Prior to accepting the position of Program Coordinator for the Arc of Tuscaloosa County, Dr. J D Webb is the Founder/ Senior Pastor of the All Life Church in Tuscaloosa, AL. and Center in Prattville, Alabama. He has preached, lectured, and conducted seminars in various cities across the United States. Dr. J. D.Webb’s future endeavor is to help promote healthy leadership within churches with his Leadership Institute.
