Buddys Rib and Steak announced an unexpected closure over the weekend after a vehicle crashed into the wall of the restaurant...again.

The mom-and-pop steakhouse, located on Lurleen B. Wallace Boulevard N in Northport, has faced issues with motorists crashing into the building before.

In March, a similar incident shuttered the business's doors for nearly eight weeks until all repairs could be made. The entire ordeal was an accident, and the restaurant's insurance covered the cost.

This most recent accident occurred during the restaurant's business hours, startling diners who were present at the time.

The steakhouse's owners quickly took to Facebook to address the situation and announce they would be taking some time to close and assess what needed to be fixed.

But, this accident did not handicap the business for too long. The Buddys Rib and Steak Facebook page indicates that the restaurant will be back to normal operations on Tuesday, May 25, after a short closure for repairs.
