CDC Recommends Flu Shots, Not Spray
Your child hates getting shots, right? Who doesn't? You do what you can to prevent that pain, right? Well, unfortunately, there may not be a good alternative to taking the flu shot.
Each year, numerous people become sick and are sometimes hospitalized or even killed from influenza. So, receiving a vaccine is highly recommended. In years' past, an alternative nasal spray has been offered to ward off the flu as opposed to receiving a shot. However, according to WBRC, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention says the nasal spray may not be as effective as once believed.
So, be sure to put ice cream money aside and make plans to get those flu shots this year.
