Are you missing Alabama football? Stuck in quarantine and bored of the same old shows and programs? Relive some of the biggest games in the Nick Saban era with Eli Gold and Tide 100.9.

Each week for the next 12 weeks, Tide 100.9 FM in partnership with Learfield IMG College will air classic Alabama games during the Saban era. The games will be aired on Saturdays and Sundays on Tide 100.9 FM, our web browser and the TIDE APP. The games will air at noon each day beginning this Saturday, March 28.

"We made a B on the midterm, so are we going to take a week off and get a D and have a C average?" asked Saban. "Or are we going to go try to get an A? This is one game, what we did in this game; is one game."

Saban was quick to remind the media, the fans and his players that an opening week victory over Clemson in 2008 was just that: one game. Coming off a 7-6 season the year prior, the Tide's 34-10 victory over the Tigers to begin the 2008 season ushered in a new era of Alabama football.

The Tide rolled in Atlanta and the dynasty was officially birthed. The Tide held the Tigers to 0 yards rushing as a team and forced two turnovers to stifle the Clemson offense on the evening.

Senior Quarterback John Parker Wilson led his offensive unit passing for 180 yards and two touchdowns, one going to fabulous freshman receiver Julio Jones. Wilson also scored a rushing touchdown playing a part in all of the Tide's offensive touchdowns.

Junior place kicker Leigh Tiffin accounted for 14 points, making four field goals and both his extra point attempts.

Relive the birth of the dynasty on Saturday, March 28 and Sunday, March 29 at noon on Tide 100.9 FM, or our web browser or on our APP.
