Collin Sexton, third year guard out of Alabama, is lighting the NBA on fire. The young star has already broken one of LeBron James' franchise records for consecutive 20 point games, and currently has one of the most impressive stat lines in the entire league.

Sexton is averaging 25.2 points per game while shooting, a modest, 50% from the field. On top of his incredible overall shooting success, the "Young Bull" is also hitting 47% of his threes, ranking him seventh in the NBA. If this level of play continues for Sexton, he will undoubtedly be an All-Star in just his third season.

The Cleveland Cavaliers, currently sixth in the East at 9-9, are a team that has been stuck in rebuild since the departure of stars like LeBron James and Kyrie Irving. With an exciting young core that has been acquired through savvy free agency signings and the draft over the last few years, the Cavs look poised for a run at a playoff berth.

With Sexton playing well and leading the charge for Cleveland, this team has a high ceiling and is a threat to beat anyone on any night. The Cavs move on from their last matchup, a win over Detroit that saw Sexton score 29, to play the 8-11 Knicks in New York on Jan. 29. NBA All-Star voting opened up this week, and if Sexton continues tearing the league up, he should have a place on the roster.
