Following the death of his friend Anthony "Fif" Soares, Drake was on hand Saturday (Sept. 23) for the funeral services.

According to TMZ, the Toronto rapper did not speak at the funeral but did serve as one of the pallbearers. As one would expect, Drake and friends looked visibly distraught as they lowered Fif's casket into the ground.

The More Life artist confirmed Fif's death on Sept. 14, writing on Instagram, “😔😔😔😢😢😢 RIP to one of our family members…our brother… I still can’t even believe this morning was real. It was a honor to have shared years together and I will always keep your memory alive 😔Forever Fif."

In footage obtained by TMZ, Fif was standing in the lobby of his Toronto apartment complex when two men approached him and fired nearly 10 shots through the building. The suspects quickly fled the scene in a white sedan. Police have yet to identify any suspects.
