Endless Summer Continues

As the endless summer continues, yesterday, many cities across Alabama experienced triple digits.  Tuscaloosa had a record-breaking 101 degrees while the hottest city in the state was Montgomery, with 102 degrees.

Today, you can expect sunshine with a high near 98.  Tonight, the low will be close to 69 with clear conditions.  With the heating levels at record highs, we can’t rule out an isolated shower or thunderstorm in the afternoon.

Weekend weather is shaping up to have sunny skies for Saturday with a high near 96 with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon.  Sunday, you can expect a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms.

The “COOL DOWN” makes its way to West Alabama on Monday with an expected high near 80 with 60% chance of showers and thunderstorms.

Have an awesome Friday - @MaryKRadio – Weather reporter
