Five members of a construction crew were injured after a floor collapsed at a job site near the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, according to an article in the Tuscaloosa News.

Their report says the crew was working on a site on 12th Street near Tutwiler Hall when the ground floor they were on collapsed into a three-level basement area.

The workers fell more than 20 feet and were rescued by first responders with the Tuscaloosa Fire Rescue Service.

None of the workers were seriously injured, a spokesperson told the News, and none were trapped under the collapsed debris. They were pulled out of the pit created by the collapse and taken to DCH Regional Medical Center for treatment, where all were listed in stable condition Thursday afternoon.
