Fried Chicken + Beer…A Weird Food and Drink Combo

The weird pairing of food and alcohol trend has been pushed so far, and this just may have gone too far...Few foods pair as wonderfully as fried chicken and beer. Greasy fried meat washed down with a cold refreshing brew… What could be better?

I've heard of some weird beers, but Fried Chicken Chicken beer certainly stands out .

Virginia's The Veil Brewing Company teamed up with New York-based Evil Twin Brewing to create Fried Fried Chicken Chicken beer, an IPA-style beer made using trace amounts of fried chicken.

On the company's Facebook page, it described the very mundane reason the company decided to put fried chicken in its beer.

The idea came to us after eating a significant amount of fried chicken at various establishments in our beautiful city of Richmond

As in most of these gimmick beer cases, the companies make sure to state that the final product does NOT taste like fried chicken

I don't know about you but I love fried chicken and am fond of a nice cold brew, but together? I don't know. Would you try Fried Chicken Beer?
