The City of Tuscaloosa announced funeral arrangements for the late Officer Dornell Cousette. Cousette was killed in the line of duty Monday, September 16th. He was a United States Army Veteran who had been a member of the Tuscaloosa Police Department since 2006. Cousette was just 40 years old and leaves behind a finance and two young daughters.

Funeral services for Tuscaloosa Police Officer Dornell Cousette will be held Sunday, September 22nd. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. with funeral services at noon. Burial will be at 2 p.m.

Funeral procession will follow to the burial at New Salem Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery (off Unity Cemetery Road) in Aliceville. Repass will be at Aliceville Civic Center. Services will be provided by Heritage Chapel Funeral Home.
