The Hale County School System says schools will take additional measures to mitigate the spread of the novel Coronavirus, including cleaning and sanitizing classrooms, cafeterias, and buses.

Students will be screened daily for symptoms of COVID-19, and those who test positive will be required to quarantine as per CDC and ADPH guidelines. Faculty who test positive for COVID-19 will be required to quarantine for a minimum of 14 days and will be required to obtain two negative tests before returning to work.

As per Alabama Governor Kay Ivey's latest "Safer at Home" order, students from second grade and up will be required to wear face masks.
