
Bama Softball Climbs to No. 4 in Softball America’s Top 25 After Undefeated Weekend
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Alabama moves up two spots in the latest Softball America's top-25 poll after a successful weekend in Florida.

The Crimson Tide has had a terrific start to the season, going 13-0 to start the 2026 campaign. A perfect 4-0 weekend in Tallahassee, Fla, in the Dugout Club Classic, where Alabama earned two ranked wins against a top-five opponent, enough to move them up two spots after finishing last week ranked No. 6 in Softball America's top 25 poll.
Alabama outscored their opponents 106-12 in its first 13 games; this past weekend, the Crimson Tide outscored its opponents 23-3.
Alabama posted seven shutout games this season, with two of those coming this weekend, where they went undefeated in a pair of wins against No. 9 Florida State, with an 8-0 shutout win on Friday, and then a 5-1 win on Saturday in the Tide's third game of the tournament.
This weekend also saw Alabama's pitcher Kaitlyn Pallozzi become the first Crimson Tide freshman to throw a perfect game, which she did against Elon in a 7-0 game one victory to start the Dugout Club Classic.
Alabama is the third-highest-ranked team in the SEC according to Softball America's top 25, which features six SEC schools. Listed below is the full top 25:
