Alabama: USDA Recalls Chicken with “Foreign Matter” in It
The USDA has issued a recall for over 245,000 pounds of frozen chicken strips.
The recall pinpoints entree products from Conagra Brands that "may be contaminated with extraneous materials."
Conagra Brands is the Culprit
The USDA announced that the contaminated shipments were produced on select dates in June and July and can be identified in the following ways:

USDA revealed that the products were "shipped to retail locations nationwide" in addition to being sold online. So they could be in your freezer right now.
How It Happened
The "extraneous materials" found in the chicken were pieces of plastic. They were originally noticed when presence of the plastic led to "an oral injury" in a customer's consumption of the product.
All products matching these descriptions should NOT be eaten. Throw them away immediately.
