How in the world does this happen in Alabama and not Florida?

This has Florida written all over it!

However, it happened to a woman in Dora, Alabama in recent days.

If you have been pregnant then you can understand the horror of this strange predicament.

It is an extremely rare medical situation and simply amazing.

She blinded me with science. Nevermind.

Kelsey Hatcher is gonna have a baby soon.....and then another one after that.

Hatcher has dual uteri and her husband Caleb impregnated both of them.

Caleb and Kelsey already have three children aged 2, 4 and 7.

Recently, Kelsey had a doctor's appointment for the always-important ultrasound.

Ummm ok, what did you say doctor?

You say I have two babies but they aren't twins?

The doctor informed them how rare it is to have double uteri.

Dr. Shweta Patel, along with Kelsey explains below.

.The medical facts show that this sort of condition shows up less than 1% of the time.

It's very rare.

What about going into labor?

What in the world will that be like?

Any word on the sex? Of the babies that is. Get your mind out of the gutter.

The babies are both girls and they appear to be healthy and growing just like they should.

Any chance the contractions could start at different times?

Well, the doctors say there's definitely a chance.

How strange would that be?

As a guy, I don't have much to say.

This is all pretty strange.
