The Shelton State community college cosmetology department and the highly anticipated annual "Hair Show" are back this Thursday, March 12, in the Martin campus atrium in Tuscaloosa.

This event has proven to be a favorite and a definite crowd pleaser with the mission based on showcasing, creativity, stunning transformations, and the top-notch talent of Shelton State cosmetology students.

And there’s more good news because admission to the hair show is free and open to the public.

However, our sources at Shelton State advise those planning to attend to make arrangements for an early arrival, as the show typically fills the venue quickly.

The Martin campus atrium is located on Old Greensboro Road in Tuscaloosa.

Showtime is set for 6:30 pm.
