The Tide Takes On Miss State This Saturday; Find Tickets Here
The 2023 season has been challenging so far for the Crimson Tide.
For those whoo need to be caught up to speed - it opened with a drumming of Middle Tennessee State in what has become routine for Alabama. Jalen Milroe went 13 for 18 passing with a completion percentage of 72% and Isaiah Bond had 76 yards receiving for the game. It seemed Alabama was ready for Texas the following week after defeating the Blue Raiders 56-7.
However, that was obviously not the case, with the Crimson Tide offense not scoring a touchdown until the second half of its game against the Longhorns. Texas finished the day with 349 yards passing and 105 yards on the ground.

The Tide posted 362 total offensive yards with two turnovers in the game, losing to Texas 34-24.
The following week, Alabama traveled to Tampa to play South Florida. Tyler Buchner was named the starter for the game and the Bulls kept the Tide Buchner-led offense from scoring the entire first quarter. The Notre Dame transfer went 5 for 14 through the air with a total of 34 yards. Ty Simpson eventually replaced Buchner as the quarterback and the offensive line continued to struggle, with Alabama not taking the lead until the second half. The Tide closed the game out with a 17-3 win.
Alabama opened SEC play with Ole Miss coming to Bryant-Denny Stadium. The first half seemed to repeat the previous week's game. The Tide was behind the Rebels going into halftime, scoring only two field goals. The second half was all Alabama though, scoring 18 points and closing the game 24-10 for their first SEC win of 2023.
This season will be one fans don't want to miss as the Tide continues to roll in 2023. Alabama travels to Starkville to take on the Mississippi State Bulldogs Saturday. The game kicks off at 8 p.m. and tickets are currently available via Stubhub, Vivid Seats, and Seat Geeks.
