As the first day of school approaches, one local barbershop is helping students head back to class with confidence.

Fatheadz Barbershop will host a Back-to-School Free Haircut Giveaway on Sunday, Aug. 9, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., offering 10 children free haircuts ahead of the new school year.

The event is designed to give students a fresh look while easing back-to-school expenses for local families. Organizers say the goal is simple: to help children look good, feel confident and start the school year on the right foot.

In addition to free haircuts, families can also enjoy free pizza and a positive community atmosphere during the event.

The giveaway will take place at Fatheadz Barbershop, and organizers encourage families to arrive early since only 10 haircut spots are available.

As students prepare to return to the classroom, events like this continue to highlight the impact local businesses can have by investing in young people and supporting families throughout the community.

With fresh cuts, food and good vibes, organizers hope every child who attends leaves feeling ready to take on a new school year with confidence.
