James Hood’s Personal Papers And Books To Be On Display Soon

James Hood the first man to enroll at the University Of Alabama, personal papers and books will soon be on display at the Gadsden Public Library.

This will provide the public with a different look into the life of one of the University of Alabama’s most famous students.

James Hood a Gadsden native along with Vivian Malone Jones became the first two black students to enroll at the University of Alabama.  Read more here:
