Man Shot and Robbed during Dice Game at Tuscaloosa Apartments

A 24-year-old man was shot and robbed during a dice game at Forrester Garden Apartments on James I. Harrison Apartments Tuesday afternoon, investigators said.

Captain Kip Hart, the assistant commander of the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit, said police were called to the complex around 3:30 Tuesday afternoon and found that the victim had been shot and driven himself to DCH Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Hart said investigators found the victim was playing a dice game at the apartments when someone robbed and shot him.

No one has been arrested yet and the investigation is continuing.

The man's wounds are not life-threatening, Hart said.
