Due to the cancellations of the spring season amid the dangers of the COVID-19 coronavirus the NCAA has decided to grant an extra year of eligibility to seniors. According to Jeff Goodman the NCAA's Council Coordination Committee has agreed to grant relief to the spring sport athletes, the committee is still in discussions about the winter sports.

The Alabama baseball team will several members with decisions to make, Brett Auerbach, Casey Cobb, Johnny Hawk, Walker McCleney, Kolby Robinson, Dylan Oliver, William Freeman, Justin King and Kyle Cameron will all be granted an extra season of eligibility should they choose to decide to come back to college.

The Alabama softball team has an equally loaded senior class, Elissa Brown, Taylor Clark, Bailey Hemphill, Sarah Cornell, Claire Jenkins, Krystal Goodman and Alexis Mack will all have the option to return to the Capstone for another season.

Alabama women's golf has just one senior but Kenzie Wright will have the option to come back and play golf for another year for the Crimson Tide.

The men's golf team also has just one senior, Jake Dezoort will be able to play one more year after the NCAA cancelled his final year.

The track and field team has a lot of seniors who may choose to return to the Capstone. The runners for the Tide women are D'Jai Baker, Kristoni Barnes, Caroline Brooks, Rebecca Buteau, Symone Darius, Esther Gitahi, Hannah Howard, Natassha McDonald, Takyera Roberson, Britany Tolson, Haley Wright, Katie Funcheon and Leah Hanle.

The Tide has two senior women who participate in field events are Abigail Kwarteng, Avery Stuchell.

On the men's side of the Tide track team J.P. Brinyark, Robert Dunning, Alize Ford, Stephen Holcombe, Oliver Rigg, Brad Cheek, Gilbert Kigen, Vincent Kiprop can all come back and run for the Tide.

Henry Barrett and Michael Wiggins participate in the field events and will have another opportunity to compete in college.

Alabama's men's tennis team has a strong senior class of Alexey Nesterov, Edson Ortiz and Zhe Zhou. The Tide was 11-5 before the NCAA discontinued the season.

Alabama's women's tennis team will expect decisions from Alba Cortina Pou, Luca Fabian, Jacqueline Pelletier and Ann Selim. The Alabama women were 12-6 before the cancellations took place.

Elle Anderson, Sydney Boles, Peyton Cowell, Gaby Crawford, Olivia Degroot, Kylie Diffley, Samantha Gafford, Sarah Giuliani, Keilani Hamann, Hailey Higgins, Gabrielle Krieger, Carley McCoin, Arielle Schafer, Rebekah Stewart, Ariana Sweany, Katie Toth and Makena Clark are the members of Crimson Tide Crew who will all have the opportunity to return for one more season.

The NCAA is still determining if it will include winter sports in this decision but at this time all seniors who have seen their final year cut short due to concerns of COVID-19 coronavirus will all have the option to claim an extra year of college eligibility.
