Racial Slur Used On Walmart Website

Now this is news, Walmart has issued an apology for the racial slur used in a product description on their website.The "n word" was used in reference to the color of a hair cap.. This is troubling first of all because as big as Walmart is how could they let this happen?

JAGAZI is the product in question and is geared primarily toward African Americans.The website published a description for a wig cap that listed its color as “N***** Brown.”

Walmart did not share the name of the vendor that was selling the wig cap. According to a statement from the owner of Jagazi Naturals,

Considering the fact that I'm a black woman from Nigeria, what really pains me is that I get these emails from other black people who are in pain because of that word,

The real JAGAZI is a 100% black company for black people. People have often used our brand name to try and sell their products. Please be aware. Very sorry for all the distress this has caused. We are feeling the pain here as well,”

Chizo Onuh the owner of Jagazi Naturals, told the Daily News someone copied her brand and posted the product with the insulting description.
Well Walmart what have to got to say for yourself now? It's not your fault? It was a third party vendor? Whatever the reason this should not have happened in 2017.
