Reasons To Love Living In Tuscaloosa
This is going to be good! Yes, a Florida transplant has reasons to love living in Tuscaloosa.
I'm approaching almost a year and a half living in Alabama. Moving from Florida, I knew things would be different. I've actually been shocked at how many things I've grown to like about living in Alabama.
Truth be told, I expected to not like a lot of things when I got here. I knew it wouldn't be like Florida, and I tried to keep an open mind. It didn't help that when I met new people and told them where I was from, they'd always respond, "You moved here from Florida?!" Lol!
Before I moved, I knew that the University of Alabama was here and that people loved sports. That's really all I knew. I even thought that I'd be in the middle of nowhere. I thought it would be 20 miles to the next gas station. Of course I was wrong.
Since living here, I've been pleasantly surprised at some of the things I've come to love about living in Tuscaloosa. Don't get me wrong, I still love Florida but I've learned to understand why people love being in Tuscaloosa.
For all of you die-hard Tuscaloosa people, please don't come after me after seeing this list. It's just the things I've grown to like about living in Tuscaloosa. I haven't spent years and years here, and I'm still learning more about the city.
With all of that said, here are my reasons to love living in Tuscaloosa.
