Severe Storms Possible Monday

We have been closely watching the potential for severe storms for Monday afternoon into the evening.  As of right now, models are indicating shifting the time frame for potential severe weather to start Monday at 4 p.m. until 4 a.m. Tuesday morning.  Again, this time frame could be adjusted tomorrow (Sunday).  Currently, most of our listening areas are in the slight risk level for severe weather that includes the possibility of tornadoes, damaging winds up to 60 mph, and quarter-sized hail.  For our area, we could start experiencing the threat timing beginning at 4 p.m. on Monday.

I am encouraging everyone to be weather aware on Monday.   Captain Ray and I will continue to monitor weather conditions and keep you updated.
