Should We Call Him Pastor Kanye Now?

The man that brought us “Jesus Walks” is now open about his walk in faith!  I’m really torn on the subject about Kayne West and his pop-up series of “Sunday Services.”  I mean I have my personal issues with him and the “yes” people in his life.  But, that’s my problem.

On Sunday September 15th Kanye West held another pop-up “Sunday Services” at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Atlanta, GA.  According to many of my Facebook friends, there were lines forming outside of the church hours before the service kicked off.   There was a celebrity turnout as well with T.I. (Tip), Tameka "Tiny" Harris, 2Chainz, Nelly, Jermaine Dupri, and others.  My good friend that attended service said it was upbeat, fun, and powerful.

Here are some of the questions that I have seen posed on Facebook.  Do you believe Kanye’s message?  Do you support Kanye and his walk of faith?  What if this is the only way people are exposed to worship?  Do you think he is playing with God?  Is this the new way to worship?

For me, I’m torn because I really believe that when people show you who they are, believe them.  Kanye has shown us he is an incredible creative music talent and a tad bit unpredictable.  I am open on my mind being changed about Yeezy’s “Sunday Services” because if this his way to connect to his higher being, who am I to judge.
