Saturday, December 12, 2015 was one of my most memorable for Tuscaloosa! There's nothing like getting close and personal with the people who listen to you, call you, and interact via social media. Saturday, I almost forgot to preserve some dignity. Here's what happened.....

By the time I arrived a the Bryant Conference Center, it had already been a long day. Nothing seemed to be going right. So, I was determined to have a good time if only to cheer myself up.  I walked in, found my seats, and went backstage to greet the band, Alvin Garrett, and Huggy Lowdown.  Before heading to my seat to prepare for the show to begin, I had to get my "help," my food and drink.  Ran into my coworker Keshia Ellison, who had on one of the most beautiful necklaces.

You KNOW I had to ask where she'd gotten it: Zor Signature Designs.

Ed Ramsey and I brought up Huggy Lowdown.  When I tell you that what we get on the Tom Joyner Morning Show is maybe 20% of the hilarity.... Huggy is SUPER FUNNY and down to earth.  After his performance, he spent a lot of time taking pictures with fans.  Meanwhile, Alvin Garrett opened with a new song followed by a Christmas tune before delving into more of his music, including the songs he wrote for recording artist Joe, and he closed with his radio hit "By Myself."  Alvin then brought up Logan to close the evening with Just a Few Cats. Now, until this point, most people had a good time. Everyone laughed at Huggy. Some swayed to Alvin's music. Others got into it a little more than others. But when Logan came on, THIS is when the real party began!

I'd spent quite a good amount of time walking around and making sure everyone was ok. I enjoyed my sister and the other guests at our table.  But once Logan took the stage and that wobble line started.... Oh, I didn't care who didn't have a good time.  It was time to do me! And Me I did! (I know that's not a grammatically correct structure, but that was the only way to put it.)

I'm going to share the little bit of footage and pics I was able to take. But needless to say, I'm already ready for next year's party!
