Sunday Night Watches, Warnings, And Advisories

We have had a very active severe weather afternoon and evening.  I felt it would be best to give you an overall update on this evening's Watches, Warnings, Outlooks, and Advisories for our listening coverage areas (at the time of this blog post) under the guidance of the National Weather Service.  We want you to be informed and safe tonight.  Everything today seemed like it was moving at a very fast pace.

It will affect 21 counties, and these are the counties in our coverage area like Bibb, Greene, Hale, Jefferson, Perry, Sumter, and Tuscaloosa.

Here are the following cities that this Tornado Watch will affect; Alabaster, Anniston, Ashland, Birmingham, Brent, Centreville, Clanton, Columbiana, Demopolis, Eutaw, Fort Deposit, Greensboro, Heflin, Hoover, Jacksonville, Linden, Lineville, Livingston, Lowndesboro, Marion, Millbrook, Montgomery, Moody, Moundville, Pelham, Pell City, Prattville, Rockford, Selma, Sylacauga, Talladega, Tuscaloosa, Uniontown, Wetumpka, And York.

Walker County in central Alabama

Tuscaloosa County in west-central Alabama

Pickens County in west-central Alabama

Northern Greene County in west-central Alabama

Jefferson County in central Alabama

Northwestern Sumter County in west-central Alabama

Southern Fayette County in west-central Alabama

Black Warrior River At Holt Lock and Dam Affecting Greene...Hale...Marengo and Tuscaloosa Counties.

Black Warrior River At Oliver Lock and Dam Affecting Greene...Hale...Marengo...Sumter and Tuscaloosa Counties.

Black Warrior River At Selden Lock and Dam affecting Greene...Hale and Marengo Counties.

Locust Fork At Sayre Affecting Jefferson...Tuscaloosa and Walker Counties.

This will be for portions of central, east-central, northeast, northwest, southeast, and west-central Alabama.  You can expect south winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.
