News:  According  to the Tuscaloosa News the opening of the new Mapco on highway 69 may be delayed due to issues with the companies alcohol license. The store is scheduled to open December 28, 2012.

Weather: Most cloudy and windy tonight with thunderstorms moving in.  The thunderstorms could be severe with strong straight line winds. The storms should end by midday Thursday. 

Sports: It looks like Greg McElroy will get the start for the Jets this weekend against the Chargers.

Happenings: A vigil for the students slained in the Sandy Hook Elementary school shooting will be December 30, 2012 at River Road Park East.
