Today’s High Near 87
Weather Outlook for Wednesday, October 9, 2019
The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook that includes counties in West Alabama. There will be “areas of fog may reduce visibility to less than one mile, generally along and west of a line from Jasper to Tuscaloosa to Linden, through around 9 AM. Drivers should slow down and use caution if encountering areas of reduced visibility this morning.”
Today, there will be sunshine along with a Northeast wind, and the high today will be near 87. Tonight, the low will be around 66 with mostly clear conditions with calm winds coming from the east. West Alabama should be dry for the next few days, but I can’t rule out an isolated shower or thunderstorm in the afternoon. The area that could experience these showers will be more than likely East Alabama.
Don’t forget it is race weekend in Talladega, so be sure to plan ahead if traveling in or through this area. Currently, there is a slight chance for rain Friday night and Saturday in that area as well.
