The Tuscaloosa Police Department is asking for help identifying a semitruck driver accused of causing $100,000 in damage at a Chevron service station on McFarland Boulevard last week.

Stephanie Taylor, a spokesperson for TPD, said the driver of a white or silver commercial truck with an enclosed orange trailer attached struck a pole that hit the roof of the Springbrook Chevron station around 11:30 last Wednesday night.

Taylor said the collision started a small fire and also knocked out power to the surrounding area for several hours.

The suspect left the scene, and Taylor said officers are now looking for a white male in his late 20's or early 30's driving a truck matching the above description.

See the department's post below to pictures of the truck and driver captured on security cameras last week.
